An eager fan on popular Japanese blogging site ameblo recently attended a recording session for NHK’s popular program Music Japan. At the recording session, the fan watched many of JPOP’s top performers, such as AKB48. Top Korean girl groups KARA and 4minute were also in attendance for the recording.

Actress Fukuda Kyoko is currently starring as a voice actress in the Japanese version of Disney's new movie "Alice In Wonderland" as the "White Queen". The version has been released on April 28th and Fukuda had been appearing at an event for that occasion, dressed all on white, cosplaying the "White Queen".

It has been learned that popular Idol Group AKB48 will be taking part in the Anime Expo in the USA, which will be held in July and the girls will be performing at the Nokia Theater.

We heard a brief teaser earlier this month and now the official teaser has been released by Universal Music Japan. 4minute are only one of the many girl groups who are eyeing and doing promotions in the lucrative Japanese market this year. We wish them success!

We revealed a day earlier that KARA had signed with Universal Music Japan for their impending debut in Japan and have also entered the Japan Oricon chart with their repackaged album and charted at #7.

After 5 Years, YUKI Will Be Taking Part in Summer Festival Again!

Released on March 10th, YUKI's original album "Ureshikutte Dakiauyo" has made it to the top position in the ORICON weekly album ranking. During the JUDY AND MARY time, she had had 3 records topping the ranking and after 9 years it is herself again. During a release interview the singer said: "I am completely enjoying the feeling of "living", and I think it is the only feeling I can take in like that." About the concept of this new original album, she added: "I want people, who listen to this album, to just feel very happy about this."
